ידידנו היקר, בנימין לב הי”ד, עלה מצרפת לשרת בצה”ל כצנחן והפגין אומץ וחמלה בשירות למדינתו. למרות שאיפתו הראשונית להיות חובש קרבי, כישורי הקליעה יוצאי הדופן שלו הביאו אותו להישאר בתפקידו למשך שירותו הצבאי. בנימין החליט שכאשר יסיים את תפקידו בצבא, יירשם לקורס להיות חובש באיחוד הצלה, ויגשים את חלומו להציל חיים.
ב-7 באוקטובר, בנימין הפגין גבורה יוצאת דופן, והקריב את חייו כדי להציל חייל עמיתו בתוך הכאוס של הקרב. בנימין היה מלא לב, תמיד עם חיוך ומילה טובה. בעוד שחלומו להיות חובש מציל חיים לא יתגשם כעת, חבריו ובני משפחתו של בנימין החליטו להקדיש אופנולנס כבד של ”איחוד הצלה” לזכר חוסר האנוכיות והמסירות שלו. רכב זה, המצויד בציוד רפואי חיוני, ימשיך במשימתו להציל חיים ביהודה ושומרון. עם האופנוע הזה, נבטיח שרוחו של בנימין תמשיך לחיות באמצעות פעולות מתמשכות של חמלה ואומץ.
Our dear friend, Binyamin Lev HY”D, made Aliyah from France to serve in the IDF as a paratrooper and exemplified courage and compassion in service to his country. Despite his initial aspiration to become a combat medic, his exceptional sharpshooting skills led him to remain in his role for the duration of his military service. Binyamin decided that when he completed his army duties, he would enroll in a course to become a medic with United Hatzalah of Israel, fulfilling his dream of saving lives.
On Oct 7th, Binyamin demonstrated remarkable valor, sacrificing his life to save a fellow soldier amidst the chaos of battle. Binyamin was full of heart, always with a smile and a good word. While his dream of becoming a lifesaving medic will now not come true, Binyamin’s friends and family have decided to dedicate a United Hatzalah Heavy Ambucycle in memory of his selflessness and dedication. This vehicle, equipped with essential medical supplies, will continue his mission of saving lives in Judea and Samaria. With this motorcycle, we will ensure that Binyamin’s spirit lives on through continued acts of compassion and bravery.
Notre cher ami Binyamin Lev za”l a fait son aliyah de France pour entrer dans Tsahal comme parachutiste. Il a été un modèle de courage et de compassion au service de son pays. Il aspirait à être infirmier dans l’armée mais, tireur d’élite exceptionnel, il a été remarqué par ses supérieurs et est resté dans ce rôle pendant toute la durée de son service militaire. Binyamin n’en a pas pour autant oublié son rêve de sauver des vies et il a décidé que lorsqu’il terminerait son service, il deviendrait secouriste bénévole pour United Hatzalah.
Le destin en a décidé autrement : le 7 octobre 2023, ce soldat au grand cœur n’a pas hésité à se sacrifier pour sauver un frère d’armes au cœur de la bataille, faisant preuve d’un courage exceptionnel. Même dans le civil, Binyamin avait toujours le sourire et une parole gentille pour ceux qu’il croisait. Si son rêve de devenir secouriste n’a malheureusement pas pu se réaliser, des vies seront sauvées en son nom car sa famille et ses amis ont décidé d’honorer son abnégation et sa générosité en dédiant une moto-ambulance de soins intensifs de United Hatzalah à sa mémoire. Ce véhicule, doté de tout le matériel médical d’urgence nécessaire et posté en Judée-Samarie, continuera de faire vivre l’esprit de Binyamin à travers des actes de compassion et de courage.
