Here in Israel, dedicated individuals combine Jewish ingenuity with an attitude of zealous compassion to do their utmost in coming to the assistance of people in need. This organization is unique in that virtually all the work is done by volunteers whose motivation is the desire to perform deeds of righteousness. United Hatzalah saves lives by increasing the speed by which they bring vital assistance to those in a medical crisis. It is also an enterprise where Jews and Arabs work together in complete harmony, and this can help the larger goal of bringing peace to this land.
