Since October 7th, I have been heartbroken over the attacks in Israel, and on fellow Jews around the world. As I sit here in Miami almost a month later, there are many brave souls in Israel risking their lives to fight a battle of good vs. evil. I wanted to find a way to invest my time and energy into helping. Through my job in medical sales, I found myself discussing Israel with a beloved doctor in Miami Beach, and learning more about United Hatzalah of Israel. Truly an organization of heroes! United Hatzalah of Israel is a fully volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) that provides immediate lifesaving medical intervention throughout Israel - free of charge! These services are available to ALL people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. Many members of the Arab population in Israel (21%) depend on United Hatzalah as well. I am proud to have recently joined the United Hatzalah Young Leadership Board here in Miami. This will allow me to play a more active role in the community to bring awareness and support to the innocent people in Israel who depend on our help to survive.
