Fundraiser for United Hatzalah’s Volunteer EMTs
Message to sponsors
Hello everyone, First of all, I want to thank everyone who has reached out to express their support and concern. Along with your concerns for our well-being, you have also asked how you can help. I am very proud to announce that I have reached out to an organization called United Hatzalah, and together we are launching a fundraising campaign. United Hatzalah is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) organization that provides the fastest emergency medical service throughout Israel, and they provide their services completely free of charge. Their stated mission is to provide immediate lifesaving medical intervention during the critical window between the onset of an emergency and the arrival of traditional ambulance assistance. United Hatzalah’s services are available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. When I first reached out to United Hatzalah, I said that I don’t have any medical training but I want to help—so tell me how I can help. Their response was, “We need dollars.” Therefore, I am looking to raise $2,500 to purchase trauma kits, and bulletproof helmets and vests for volunteers. The reason I support United Hatzalah is because they are non-political, and it is a fantastic and secure way to ensure that your money goes directly to protecting and saving innocent lives during this brutal war.
